AMERICAN RED CROSS LIFEGUARD TRAINING
The Ephrata Rec Center offers American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Courses several times a year. These courses are designed to prepare participants with the knowledge and skills needed to be a lifeguard, offering up-to-date information on how to guard, anticipate and prevent potential hazards before they occur and how to take action to help those in danger when necessary. Must be 15 years old by the last day of class to attend.

Friday June 2 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (prerequisites)
Friday June 9 5:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.
Saturday June 10 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Sunday June 11 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Recertification Course:
Sunday May 21 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
RE-CERTIFICATION PRICING:
Non-member: $169
Member: $139
Note: The Red Cross requires Re-cert students to present a valid Lifeguarding card at the first class session.

NOTE: Seven hours required online learning after the pre-requisites have been met. Strong swimming skills recommended.
