Project Work-out

The Ephrata Recreation Center and community partners will be starting "Project Work-out" a free use of the Rec Center's facilities Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The first ten week session will start Monday, November 23rd and run through Friday, January 29, 2010.
Services include free use of the Rec Center fitness center, gymnasium, pool, game room, saunas, and steam rooms. Also included will be free yoga, aerobic, aquatic fitness classes, and pick-up volleyball. Afternoon babysitting from 12:30pm to 2:30pm will be offered at a small fee. Free workshops will also be provided by community partners; presently they include Tabor Community Services, LMA Consulting, CareerLink, Community Action Program, Ephrata Community Hospital and Senator Mike Brubaker. Some of the workshop themes will be on saving, budgeting, resume building, networking, state resources, and health screenings.
Admission to this program will require individuals to show their unemployment debit card or CareerLink Card or any other documentation from unemployment office
